CHANDU THE GREAT

Pioneer – First Generation

Chandrakant Shankar Sarang born in Mumbai on 20th July 1922. When he was 6 year old, saw a MADARI (a street magician) performing the illusion of stopping playing flute, vomiting blood after throwing Udit by casting Mantras, Needle through Tongue, cutting and separating Head and went in critical condition. His Maternal Uncle Mr. Mukund Tukaram Naik asked him about his condition. After investigation he came to know the situation, though he was not a performing Magician, he knew few magical effects based on Black Magic. I.e. cut a lemon of which both parts are blooded, Coin from one glass to other, Burn a Turban and restored. He taught these effects to his 6 years old nephew Chandrakant Shankar Sarang taught him these effects under condition, not to look at this art unless and until he completes his studies. After completing Studies and Textile career as a Manager in Textile Mill Mr. Chandrakant Shankar Sarang entered in this field and took his childhood hobby i.e. magic as a profession in the year 1952.

VINAYKUMAR SARANG

Second Generation

Vinaykumar Chandrakant Sarang alias Magician Vinaykumar born on 29th November 1958, a Bachelor of Arts-University of Mumbai. His father Chandu the Great masters him in Magic, Hypnotism and Ventriloquism and also had training programme of Hypnotism by Prof. Manohar Naik. Acting from Little Theatre, Voice Culture Programme of Indo American Society, Pathik and Land Mark Curriculum made him to be a character actor and a human being as well.

VINAYKUMAR participated various All India Magicians competition and won First Prize - New Delhi, Jadu Ratna Puraskar - Udaipur, Rajasthan, Gold Medal - Mumbai etc. Hon. the then President of India Mr. Gyani Zailsingh, Veteran film Director, Chitrapati Dr. V. Shantaram, Pandit Jasraj, Welknown Director Mr. Kamalakar Torane appreciated Vinaykumar’s art of Magic. His Magic shows in Faster Fene, Ventriloquism and hypnotism Act in DISNEY CLUB T.V. serials was highly appreciated.

Mother of NS

Shraddha Vinay Sarang is mother of NS. She has worked and performed with all 3 generations including NS. She assisted NS when he won for the 1st time the 1st prize in magic competition. Her efforts, hardwork and blessings are the main reasons for the success of NS. She was awarded with ”MAGICAL MOTHER” Award by Society of Indian Magician (SIM) for her hard work and efforts towards her son Nirmalkumar Sarang to make him successful MAGICIAN & ILLUSIONIST

NIRMALKUMAR VINAY SARANG

3RD GENERATION

NS alias nirmalkumar sarang was born on 17th june 1988.He is grandson of Magician chandu the great and sumati sarang &son of Magician vinaykumar and shraddha sarang. He is 3rd generation magician & illusionist. At the tender age of 3 years he started performing stage shows. He Performed His 1St Show In Mini K.G.
